I was fortunate enough to have a lunch date with founder of Forward PR and co-founder of the Fashion Business Club (FBC) Courtney Blackman last week.
We went to Bob Bob Ricard a restaurant that is a small haven off the bustling Upper James Street. It is quintessentially english and feels like it is off a set from a time in the days of the British Empire. Definitely worth a visit, the food is great.
Courtney is an inspiration for her drive and foresight into creating such success stories as the Fashion Business Club a networking tool for professionals within fashion and the associated creative industries.
As I have previously blogged the members/invitation only club attracts like minded people who are driven to succeed and is a chance to share stories and meet others who are similarly inclined to making waves in the fashion industry.
The next FBC event is coming up at the end of September (after fashion week) so I will be reporting on who was there and what the hot topics were amongst the fashion folk- stay tuned!
